Deloitte receives top ratings from leading industry analyst firms

MINSK, July 8 (Prime-Tass) -- Kennedy’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Consulting Marketplace 2009-2012 report ranks Deloitte #1 for Management Consulting and Business Advisory Services, while Gartner’s MarketScope for Global Finance Management Consulting Services rates Deloitte “strong positive,” the highest possible rating.

Kennedy’s APAC report focuses on the challenges faced by consulting firms over the past year as a result of the declining demand for services. It evaluates the top firms based on their capabilities and their responses and strategies to adapt to the changing environment.

The report refers to Deloitte as being “a true multi-service consultancy that delivers a full range of solutions.” It highlights as a key differentiator Deloitte’s ability to tap into its worldwide network quickly and effectively: “One thing Deloitte can do that few other consultancies can come close to matching is getting a team in place for client engagements anywhere in the world in 36 hours or fewer. The firm is able to draw upon the deep industry and technical knowledge of the worldwide Deloitte organization and relies on its regional centers of excellence to build and transfer that knowledge.”

Overall in APAC, Deloitte is ranked #5 for Consulting—behind Fujitsu Consulting, IBM Global Services, Otsuka Shokai, and NTT Data, but ahead of Accenture, the other Big Four, and strategy firms such as McKinsey—and #1 for Management Consulting and Business Advisory Services.

Gartner’s Marketscope for Global Finance Management Consulting Services report assesses the global capabilities of nine leading finance management consulting service providers based on the following criteria: experience, market understanding, market responsiveness, product/service, offering strategy, geographical capabilities, and vertical-industry strategy. The report rates Deloitte “strong positive,” the highest possible rating. It highlights Deloitte clients’ satisfaction with services and cites Deloitte for strong consulting, technology implementation competence, and project management skills.
